I Spy Concepts without Clues (PDF)
A set of 4 game boards for playing I Spy without a visual representation for each concept. Designed as an activity for children in the car, the game focuses on finding concepts easily found from a car window. It provides an area to draw the item that matches each concept in each box (ex. a green light for the concept green).
As this version of I Spy does not include visual clues, it is designed for children who can read or who are at a developmental age where they understand the concepts without needing a visual representation of the concept.
I Spy is played by each player taking a game board and looking for items that match each concept. When an item is identified for a concept, the concept is marked off (or a picture drawn in the box). The player who can cross off the most concepts before the end of the ride/trip/game is the winner. To avoid arguments between players, the game can also be played until all of the concepts are marked off the game board.
